DGK originally started off as a crew of skateboarders from Philadelphia, but has now grown into one of the most influential skateboard and street fashion brands on the market. DGK founder Stevie Williams and his friends used to hang out and skate at Philly’s legendary LOVE park, and were called “dirty ghetto kids” by other skaters. Stevie and his crew took over LOVE park a couple of years later, embracing the name Dirty Ghetto Kids. A few years after, Stevie turned pro for Chocolate
skateboards and other brands. His friends had pretty much all stopped skateboarding, but Stevie still kept representing DGK. In 2002, he turned it into a brand. Even though the original crew doesn’t exist anymore, DGK is still about brotherhood, skating, and hanging out in the streets with your homies. DGK clothing and skateboards have a bold, instantly recognizable style, characterized by slogans, prints, and colours. The designs are inspired by classic sportswear, smoking weed, and, of course, skateboarding. The DGK team is one of the best in the business and includes skateboard icons like Josh Kalis, Marcus McBride, Rodrigo TX and Stevie Williams. DGK All Day!
