A broad collection of Lobster Snowboards is available at snowboard shop Revert 95. This snowboard (or snowbaord) brand was founded by two of the world’s best riders, the Icelandic brothers Eiki and Halldor Helgason. They used to ride for Rome
and DC respectively, but wanted to get on the same board programme since the beginning of their careers. They really have fun and push each other when they ride together, so starting their own company was a logical next step for them. Lobster Snowboards is a company the Helgasons really believe in and are really stoked on. The brand is all about creativity, randomness and fun (at least what they think is fun). This is reflected in Lobster’s graphics, that are ranked among the craziest, weirdest and grossest in snowboarding. Lobster applies Bataleon’s Triple Base Technology on all their boards. This technology divides the base into three different zones, giving the snowboards slightly lifted ‘side bases’. This makes these sticks more forgiving, while they maintain their carving ability. Other than Bataleon
, Lobster is the only brand that uses Triple Base Tech. This year’s Lobster collection includes a park board, freestyle board and jib board. Eiki and Halldor aptly named these boards the Park Baord, Freestyle Baord and Jib Baord. Additionally, Lobster drops two extra graphics of the Park Baord and Jib Baord every season. These Special Addition boards are very special to the snowboarding brothers. They will continue to make these limited edition boards, whether they sell or not. A Special Addition board is a piece of art, as well as a functional snowboard or coffee table.
