Cariuma was founded by two friends from Brazil with a passion for board sports. They quit their office jobs together to start Cariuma. They felt that current skate shoes and brands were uncomfortable and didn't care much about the environment. Besides high-quality and comfortable shoes, they also needed to offer them. Cariuma shoes are also made sustainably .
The Cariuma Catiba Pro are the new sustainable skate shoes in the Netherlands. You might know them from The Berrics or their all-star skate team. The Revert 95 team riders had the opportunity to test them for you.

Gustavo Ribeiro from Portugal and Kelvin Hoefler from Brazil. They all skate the Cariuma Catiba Pros, the sustainable skate shoes.
Cariuma uses many sustainable materials, including: organic cotton, sugar cane, cork, mamona oil, recycled PET, leather, suede and recycled packaging paper.
They take good care of their staff; their well-being is their top priority; without them, they are nothing. They earn enough to live comfortably and maintain a separate work and business life.
Cariuma gives back to nature by planting a tree in the Brazilian rainforest for every shoe sold.
