Habitat Skateboards was founded in 1999 and has since grown into one of the largest skateboard manufacturers! Their team includes big names like Kerry Getz, Danny Garcia, Fred Gall, Stefan Janoski, Silas Baxter-Neal, and Daryl Angel. Habitat Skateboards began in early 2000 with a small team of five amateur skateboarders on the verge of breaking through to the pro ranks. Some of these skaters have remained loyal to Habitat and continue to skate for the brand. Habitat is known for its lightweight boards, which are just as strong as those from other manufacturers. Habitat uses Skylite Constructions and Corrugated technology and is the only manufacturer with a 5-layer deck. This makes the boards not only light and functional, but also incredibly strong!
